T Burrows have closed after 37 years

It’s with a heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to a member of the St Christopher’s Place family, as T Burrows leave our charming streets.

Known and loved for their striped socks and tailored travel jackets, T Burrows have always been admired for their timeless style, quality British materials…and clientele to match; Hugh Laurie, Paul Weller and the Gallagher brothers to name a few.

When Michael Gennoe and Alan Murray arrived at the site in 1983, the antique sign (which hangs above their store to this day) was already in existence. The pair liked the sign so much that they decided to name their new menswear brand, T Burrows, so that they didn’t have to part with it!

T Burrows represent everything we love about St Christopher’s Place; top quality, unique products, made by people who love what they do and served with a smile. They’ve been a cornerstone of our incredibly unique shops for over three decades and it will be incredibly sad to see them go.
