A Whistles Wedding

The Whistles Wedding returns with a selection of quietly confident pieces, including timeless dresses, contemporary tailoring and chic jumpsuits for every type of ceremony. This year, five new wedding styles arrive to offer brides a unique sartorial extension of themselves.

New to the collection is ‘Ellis’, a strapless dress that feels sleek yet playful thanks to a statement organza bow behind, paired with an elegant, modest train. Meanwhile, a sleek and satin patchwork dress arrives in ‘Eileen’, designed in a fluid bias-cut shape, with a modern square neck, delicate straps and a soft cowl neck back.

The next newcomer is the ‘Sabrina’ silk dress, bringing a sense of playfulness and confidence to the collection. The organza detailing creates whimsical puff sleeves and delicate pleating, whilst the open back and flared hem draw more interest. Also, the signature ‘Lina’ dress has been refreshed in a satin fabric this season, with an eye-catching low back and a romantic long curved train.

The final newcomer is ‘Andie’, bringing us a sleek update of the iconic wedding suit; a natural choice for the brides looking to forgo tradition. The single breasted blazer is effortless and oversized, whilst the trousers are tailored with a capacious leg to breeze down the aisle in.

Three new bridesmaid styles are also introduced this season; the ‘Gemma’, a minimal strapless maxi dress with a subtle slit, the modern ‘Mila’, a favourite silhouette for Whistles which has been updated in a maxi length, the free-spirited ‘Bethan’, a romantic one-shoulder maxi dress and finally, the signature Tie Back Maxi Jumpsuit is now available in navy for the bridal party.

The Whistle's Wedding collection comprises 20 styles, with names that have been inspired by romantic heroines (think Lina in Singin’ In The Rain, Andie in Pretty In Pink and Ellis in Brooklyn). Taking classic aesthetics and rendering them with unique and playful twists, these designs will deliver an enduringly elegant feel for every wedding - be it a modern city affair or a traditional countryside event
