Each year, James Street in St Christopher's Place completely transforms for One Great Day. Whether you escape for an hour (or two or three), there's an activity for all ages to enjoy.
Swing by early morning for your caffeine fix, graze on canapé tasters from some of our exciting food vendors, or break a sweat in our virtual cycle.
Tap your toes along to a range of acoustic busking performances from local London talent. Or return into the evening for a bit of a boogie with live swing band, Any Swing Goes, accompanied by the Honey Hoppers dance troupe. So contagious, you might start to feel as though you're on the set of a West End musical.
Oh, and not to mention, you can enter our exciting raffle draw, with prizes ranging from stunning designer handbags to luxury London experiences, all kindly donated by members of St Christopher's Place.
Virtual Cycle
When: All day
Whether you're a cyclist or a spectator, our virtual cycle is sure to get your endorphins flowing! Taking place in the centre of our piazza throughout the day, up to 45 teams from the local community will compete to cycle the 3 mile distance at the fastest pace. Who has what it takes to win the Fastest Team, Fastest Female and Fastest Male prizes? Lycra bodysuits are, of course, optional...
Coffee Morning
When: 8am - 10am
Get your (very important) before-work hot drink from popular bakeries in St Christopher's Place, Ole & Steen or Euphorium, by donating the equivalent cost to One Great Day. Are you a no-fuss Espresso drinker or an Instagram-friendly Matcha Green Latte sipper?
Tasting Hour
When: 5pm - 7pm
Pop your pennies in one of our donation buckets to enter our canapé tasting haven. Expect tantalising Thai delicacies, bite-sized pastries and much more from a selection of the restaurants that can be found in St Christopher's Place.
